Semi, if the BTX spec is anything like the Dell designs, then I like it. The Dell designs are really good and easy to install and remove. Normal ATX designs have a fan on the heatsink which does not help much when the case temps go higher. In my custom made PCs I use a product similar to dells. It's called "cooling wizard" which is basically ducting (similar to dryer ducting) that fastens directly onto the CPU/Heatsink assembly and feeds it cooler air from outside the case. It significantly lowers CPU temps and ambient noise. This product is made for all CPUS and sockets and it's very cheap (<$15). It works with all ATX case and most mATX.

If it looks like a DUCT walks like a DUCT it's a DUCT.

The A64 rigs I'v built with "COOL & QUIET" installed dont need any DUCTS. In fact if your not doing anything the CPU fan stops and takes a rest!
I will admit, the first time I noticed I quickly grabbed the mouse to shut it down.
Lo and behold, the CPU fan spun up, right before my eyes.

Good luck with your DUCT workwink

Regards

Jules
