Yes, I agree that there are multiple variables to be addressed. Really what I was trying to point out is that we tend to put way too much weight on only one or two variables and attempt to do analysis on these alone without viewing the entire picture.
Supply and demand is simple on the surface, but once studied in depth it is easy to see that all the things mentioned on this board have SOME effect on the share price. But it is a synergy (I hate that corporate word - but it works here) of all the variables that create the image of simplicity in the supply and demand picture. No single issue short of criminal activity can dictate the VALUE of a company. The stock price can be artificial, but by the very label it does not reflect the value all the time. Solid companies rise up and face the hurdles - they do not die because of rumor or chatter. If they do then they were nothing to begin with.
And don't even get me going on naked shorting - that is an issue all its own. I absolutely know it happens here in pinkie land. Hopefully we will see less of this practice after 10/15, but we will see.
Anyway, I really just wanted to thank TFN for the statement of fact. Everyone is an expert and knows this and that and how this works and how that works and who e-mails who and what this word implies and that word implies and what company is real and what company is a scam and what the latest visionary four minute increment chart is showing by the bollie bands and holy crapoli it goes on and on and on. Stating that we really don't control anything was the most truthful thing proclaimed in a long time on this particular board. It takes a solid person to say that they really can't predict the future - thanks again, TFN!
You are absolutely correct, Leigh01. It happens. Just be thorough in your analysis, stick to the facts that YOU find out, and trust in your investment...unless you are a flipper, of course...
Might be a rough week for this stock, but in my opinion the long money wins.
