Jim....Re: Janet's remark "I can't comment" ,to me, as a retired lawyer, means one of two things.....1) She is a mean person with a chip on her shoulder; or, 2) She is under strict instructions by her management (thru their attorneys) to not comment. I would have to believe #2 is correct.

My opinion is that stages of letigation and negotiations are to a point where a muzzle has to be put on everyone (for a number of reasons). History has been that when one makes a comment it is broadcast all over this and other boards...and in some cases perhaps in not the same verbage and intent that it was conveyed. Remember a year a two back when a poster thought he/she might be ask to testify in a case because of comments he/she made on this board...that caused some confusion! Although frustrating from our stand point, and what many would think is not good PR, "the lid is on" and we have to just trust that it is for a good purpose and respect it.

I think Janet is just doing her job and following instructions given to her to by those who pay her check....ie, she's a good soldier following orders from her commander.
