Method for making a soluble dietary fiber composition from oats
Abstract
Water-soluble dietary fiber compositions can be prepared by treatment of oat-milled products with .alpha.-amylases. The dietary fiber compositions are colorless and devoid of inherent undesirable flavors and are, therefore, uniquely suitable for use in a variety of foods.
