following my posts on the subject, but I won't take it personally. ;o)
The idea is for Seagate to promote this logo:
They could technically say that once this logo is on a computer, and it becomes widely known what it means, thieves won't bother stealing something that becomes a brick. THAT would be the 'end of laptop theft'. The data loss benefit is more immediate. Have you bought back in?
