Quality and reliability are worth the extra cost.
1985 the Yugo went on sale as the cheapest car sold in the USA. With a base price of $3990, it was thousands cheaper than the next car what happened to them?

"There is no great honor these days in being a long (very long).......
Not a lot of profit either it seems."
