While DAA provides a theoretical mechanism to convince a third party that the platform is a secure platform not rebvealing any other information, and therefore provide an alternative to remote attestation, it does in no way, shape or form diminish the need for networked TPM management.
Even in the case of DAA the TPM needs a certificate attesting that it is a real TPM. The need for key back-up and migration mechanisms remain unchanged.
