The fact that you said "Could the company have put out an update to keep everybody happy YES, they could have and probably should have. I even recommended doing so but they didn't", is an example of what I was looking for. I do not want fluffy PRs... I've been in those stocks and they ALWAYS end bad.
But, I did expect them to follow through with a status when they give dates and those dates have come and gone. I know you are no different then us in that you can not tell the company what to do, but the fact that you are IR and are essentially the "middleman" between the company and investors, you should be able to pass on info like "they are going to update shareholders shortly" or an e-mail from JD stating they are working hard to meet their goals. That is exactly what I was looking for.
The bottom line is if they didn't give dates in the PRs, I wouldn't be having this conversation... I would be wondering what the company was doing, but I would not be expecting a status or PR on what happened at the events they stated they were going to be at.
Right now I am in the red and do believe in the company and may buy some more, but I wanted to get some answers... and in a way I did. This is the first type of status I have heard since they put out 4 PRs in those 9 trading days in July... and if you are any type of penny trader, you know that going quiet and watching dates go by with no comment from the company will just take the stock down.
I want to make it clear that I am on the same side as everyone here... I want nothing but good things from the company. And with that, I put this issue to rest... unless we don't hear from them by September 30th. GLTA
