Is Intel the true Milli Vanilli Company?

In the late 80's Andy Grove described AMD as the Milli Vanilli of the semiconductor companies. For those of you that don't know about Milli Vanilli, it was a pop group that lipsync'ed the words to music that some other group sung. It was meant to be a stinging insult by Andy Grove!

I suggest that Intel is now the MILLI VANILLI company. Shall I count the ways:
1. Single volt power supply for flash
2. First 5 volt and then lower power supply for flash
3. Still not able to duplicate AMD's data retention on flash.
4. First with 3DNOW, basically copied by SSE.
5. First to provide copper interconnects on X86 microprocessors.
6. DDR memory
7. Now following/copying AMD lead into X86-64 systems.

Will they have to copy AMD in using on chip memory controller for their microprocessor?

What will they do for HyperTransport?

Cheers,

Phergy
