Countryboy, very interesting read...

Nevertheless, Intel did make a decision last year not to sell vPro as a consumer technology, at least not at first, partly due to the negative publicity surrounding it. This is why vPro is billed as a business technology. Notice also notice, that Microsoft is no longer a direct participant in this project.
