Lanza couldn'r risk his repeated attempts to clean up BD's act (Lanza's consistent wrongdoings). Lanza got rid of Barry M for no other reason that he was close to exposing BD.
Anyone who has read Barry M's letter of resignation - where he openly states he can no longer trust anything emanating from the management, nor can he believe any facts or figures relating to operation outputs, income or revenue as stated by the company.....ANYONE who has read his words will quickly see why his departure from BD was a negative event for shareholders.
There were many facets at play when Barry was BD's CFO. Only he truly knows the magnitude of those events. If you understand nothing else, understand why he left!
There are those who would suggest otherwise. Either they are unknowing of the facts, (VERY likely) or have a singular agenda which may be diametrically opposed to those who want BD's share price to rise.
