"TAMPA, FL--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 21, 2007 -- EarthFirst Technologies, Incorporated ("EarthFirst" or "the Company") (OTC BB:EFTIE.OB - News) announced today that its WESCO subsidiary had been awarded an air permit from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management ("ADEM") allowing full-time commercial operations of its Catalytic Activated Vacuum Distillation ("CAVD") technology in Mobile, Alabama. The permit, ADEM Air Permit # 503-0090-X001, was granted to the CAVD reactor and operations in the normal course after administrative review and public comment, a procedure that took approximately 14 months.
