Even if ERHE forfeits ALL oil production until costs are paid the costs would be paid in 76 days, assuming 200,000 bpd production and a billion dollars development cost.

Even if you double the cost to $2B ERHE is paid in full in five months.

That's quite a bit shy of your fear mongering "forever".

Relax, my gut says this is a mistake and will be rectified in a PR next week.
