Stockdoc;

We've all learned a hard lesson. I know it is not good form to discuss actual dollars but I will. I'm currently down $86,000.00. Initial investment of $106,000 and now currently worth about $20,000.

It has been a hard lesson for me as I have ALWAYS been very conservative in my investment strategy. I am not a day trader and got carried away with all the hype also. My average share price is $ 0.0753 per share. Fortunately I have other investments to sustain me but I DON'T like to loose money.

My advice to anyone considering purchasing penny stocks.

1) Be able to afford the loss - fortunately I can - This doesn't mean I like it ;-(

2) Don't invest more than $5 K - $10 K MAX in one individual penny stock even if you COULD afford to loose more. Most folks probably shouldn't invest more than a few hundred bucks in one.

Someone at Cornell has bought a nice new car on the money I lost (at least on paper) in this mess...
