Isn't it amazing,
that an official filing, for the registration of recently issued shares, has to be so confusing?
There are some extremely smart individuals on this thread, yet I've yet to see an explanation for the numbers versus previous knowledge.
One should be able to find, in such a report, a concise statement that makes it all as clear as a bell. But it just isn't done that way. Time to fix the system?
I can't make the numbers work either, SPIN, and I don't have any guess as to the reason.
Waiting for one of our financial geniuses to clear this up.

edit: and even if one of the proposed explanations that gets it close is correct, why must we deal with close? What's the matter with exact? How hard is it to count shares?
