Maybe someone with some wireless knowledge can comment, but something I have been thinking about is the apparent flexibility of the Hotzone solution.

So far, we have heard of Hotzone being able to accomodate, DECT, WIFI, WiMax, and now microwave links? It seems like the functionality is determined by whatever combination of mini-PCI cards are installed. Is this a common practice in the industry and do other companies' products offer the same interoperability?
