Green..............I truly have a hard time believing Jim didn't know Astrom. There is always a chance he didn't.

Astrom could have slipped some fineprint in the contract that was overlooked by Jim. He may have been had.
I really think that Jim loves the mag and wants to make it work. He may have been forced into a bad contract too keep his dream alive.

On the other hand, he may have seen this as an opportunity to get some suckers to pay the bills and has just followed through with the plan.

Jims either as dumb as a stump or a smart con man.

Either way, I think he still has his dream.
