Good post. I, likely similar to yourself, am a strong believer in the contrarian view point on some of these penny plays. No one really knows when and if the short squeeze will occur, but with the recent change in laws by the SEC, perhaps the brokers/MMs will begin to squirm.

Last night on Fast Money (CNBC) one of the commentators gave a brief insight into his thoughts on Naked Shorts. He believes that because of a recent court ruling in the Overstock case, that these FTDs may very quickly become illegal in all US markets. He further went on to talk about how many small-cap/nano-cap stocks have been the target of a select number of brokers/hedgies shorting the heck out of these companies. His thoughts were that if a crack down occurs (by the SEC), there may be a scramble to cover off these positions across the board.

Our clock is definately ticking...lol...the problem is no one knows what time it actually is!
