President Bush signed an executive order Friday prohibiting cruel and inhuman treatment, including humiliation or denigration of religious beliefs, in the detention and interrogation of terrorism suspects. Meanwhile, a kid in Georgia is still serving a 10-year sentence for having consensual sex with a fellow teenager. He was 17 and she was 15. And Bush is still threatening to veto any bill that would add gay people to the list of those protected by the Federal Hate Crime law. Religious leaders applaud him, saying it would give gay people "special rights", even though crimes against people for religious reasons are already covered under the law.
