The majority of the American people, as well as the majority of the Senate want us to begin the withdrawal process. But until we can convince enough Republicans to break the filibuster, and later override the Bush veto, we're powerless. They're waiting for the September progress report, which will be more of the same distortions that were in the last report. The last report ranked only 8 out of 18 benchmarks as satisfactory. But the 8 that were ranked unsatisfactory included ALL of the important ones. It's just games.
