If I were an AMD employee, I would opt for the QuickSale option.

As an aside to chipguy's comments, I once sat down with a young engineer and explained to him why the ESPP was a guareenteed 15% return with almost no risk. We hashed over the numbers and discussed how the quick sale option could protect him from downside to the stock price etc. He could not get passed the fact that because 'STOCK' was involved then there must be risk somewhere. Needless to say he never did sign up for the ESPP much to my chagrin (since I liked the guy). Oh well.
