jfburk...I think Sam's post on that is in agreement with you on the shared responsiblity, and I think it was well stated.

That team was dependent upon each other to be proactive and forthright in communications and support for each other. There was a fundamental failure or failures that spread and led to the collapse of that division (among other failures outside of the division, without rambling on and on).

So I agree that it was a shared responsibility that to have reached the point it reached, required the ignoring of responsibilites by every key player involved. If the management team was aware of failures by emplyees they would have worked together to fix it. If one manager was messing up the others should have known and actively worked to fix it. No, everyone involved was too busy to fix it or see to it that it was fixed. It's a total failure by all concerned.

Of course each one will scream why it wasn't his fault, but that's BS.
