gottfried, I've been using a IE repair tool for weeks. I think it's the same one...........run it from RUN in my startup menu.
It seemed to help a little, but not enought to make a difference.
I also use EasyCleaner to clean my registry every day, as well as Spybot.
I've also run several tests on PCPitstop, enough to know that the problem isn't my computer.
I had a question about the modem, but no longer.

Version of NN?............got me!....LOL
I just went to the c/net browser downloads and picked one with a good rating.
This one was supposed to be a full download....(all the stuff..:)
