Would Cheveron/Exxon have this much pull that it could stir this kind of shiite storm? If so, why? Crying over spilled milk? To aquire more rights??? Strange tactics. Basically pizzing of the hand that feeds you your 25% of your national imported oil.

The US just put a friggin radar station on Sao Tome to protect their oil interests. You would think that they would be catering to the local power players to aquire more oil to protect. I guess I just don't understand the oil biz. All I know oil is worth lots of money and if all this fuss is about our oil rights, we may just have lots of it.
