Has anyone seen the program are you smarter than a 5th grader?

Lets see(20% share reduction) PR issued while actually increasing the O/S by 14% from 68 billion to 77 billion) The key word is "increasing" a 5th grader would say this means more. Where as reduction means less. Am I missing the point?
