Mas, Re: They will need the new 775 socket just to deliver enough power to exceed 3.6 Ghz and will they ever reach 5Ghz on air-cooling ? While they are doing this AMD will be slipping into 90nm and 3Ghz speeds.

So you expect AMD to reach 3GHz while Intel is transitioning to socket-775. I guess you fit in pretty well here.
