nuk, if Etrade is not allowing sells, and the security is actively trading on the open market, there is a MAJOR problem. I can understand a broker refusing opening transactions for a variety of reasons, but to not allow you to SELL is totally unaceptable. That tells me they possibly are NOT in possession of the bulk cert that SHOULD reflect your holdings....
