edit - the situation alters supply and demand, not the fundamentals of the underlying securities. so you would have to know a little more.
But it's a good list of stocks to go look at. Pick the best one or two.
This reminds me of a story --
A little broker in Georgia that a friend of mine was involved with...they were charging him $75 a trade... he didn't use the account much.... he forgot he had it... the Atlanta outfit had bought out some other broker that he had his account with...
long story short... he called me one day and asked where he could get cheaper commissions... I gave him Ameritrade and ETrade phone numbers... he thanked me, then asked:
"Is HDTV a good stock?"
"Why?" I asked.
"Because every time I call this $75 a trade broker, they tell me to get out of whatever I am in and buy HDTV," he answers.
Longer story short, this broker pimped HDTV on their house accounts for 3 years. You saw this MM show up on the bid on that stock ALL THE TIME as it continued to tank and tank and tank... it was obvious... go have a look at HDTV.
I watched that stock for several years on L2 at the open just to see what was going on today -- who did they dump paper on today... it was like clockwork...
So, there you have my long story about pimping trash....
