Pickle, thanks for these article which, if nothing else, show the vast scope of security. Of interest is the below excerpt which identifies a new Wave product alluded to by someone from Wave who said that Microsoft had opened up Server 2008 for the things demonstrated with them during the recent Interop conference.

"For example, the Wave Embassy Endpoint Enforcer Client talks to the Wave Embassy Endpoint Enforcer Server, and the PatchLink Update Agent talks to the PatchLink Update Server".

The TCG has already issued a Trusted Server specification which one would reasonable guess includes the use of a TPM in the server. If true, this would beg the question, how does Microsoft intend to manage the TPM in Server 2008?

I for one wish the Server 2008 release would come faster, just in case Microsoft becomes concerned about our balance sheet. I have read estimates of Fall to sometime in 2008.
