Yeah, I thought so too. But it "seems" to be working on another USB port. "seems" == Shows in Explorer, can read jpg files (all I've tried), DOES NOT appear in Disk Manager.

Oh, and once I changed ports, the 'error messages in Event Viewer / System stopped.

Not convinced I'm anything but confused. Maybe more Tullamore Dew ...
