What's the big deal with simply certifying you owned shares on a certain date. Does anyone have something in writing of a broker refusing to do this? I faxed the sheet to AMTD and haven't heard squat.

Freakin BS. I left AMTD a long time ago, but they had my shares on the 20th of December.
