DFLY................I've had one big play in pennyland and that was in '03 with ADOT. I had been heavily and passionately studying technical analysis in charting and saw a good entry point on ADOT at .0015. My mother had a stroke the day after I bought $1500 dollors worth of adot and I then spent the next couple weeks caring for her in my home before she passed away. In the emotional trauma of my mothers stroke and cancer discovery I had forgotten all about trading and my pathetic portfolio and the day after her burial ceremony I thought to check my account and found that ADOT was trading at .03 a share. I excitedly sold off my $1500 for $30,000 and made a large number of essentially break even trades to later on in '04 give my brother $8,000, pay off a vehicle with aapproximate $10,000 and place the remaining $10,000 on CMKX only to watch it go from .0001 to .0012 and see what turned into $100,000 dwindle away to $10,000 and then to nothing when it delisted. The company was apparantly a scam from the begining despite big dollar promotions and a lot of highly promising b.s. prs telling of hundreds of kimberlite anomolies on 2 million acres of land with DeBeers in the area and lots of powerful names attached to the story. Even if the land actually has true astronomical natural resource dollar values in it, it has been removed from the shareholders prospects. So after 3 years of destroyed trading confidence thanks to CMKX and naked shorting or invisible astronomical dilution, scam ceo's and after months of following the disgusting CMKX chat boards I now have a lousy $2,000 in my account with which I'm doing my best to protect and carefully reinvest for those same ridiculous gains I once encountered, by playing the prs, the trader interest or volume, and technical charting indicators, as well as the very important insider buying factor as well. I have divorced myself finally from CMKX and its intrigue and now have a renewed confidence and positive perspective of playing the pennies. And that is where the real money is. Though I hate my membername of cmkxman, I may keep my membername as a reminder to myself of how much criminal behavior can be found in the pinks and the otcbbs as well as all the caps, ie. Enron, and what to watch for. Never get emotionally involved in someone elses company. FWIW, this board also helps boost my confidence. GLTUA!
