"Lou is trying to get some straightforward answers out of a company and it's Executive, JL, which is virtually an impossible task. In fact, Lou is trying to accomplish more than just getting some answers to lingering questions, he's also trying to effect change in a company that's managed by a virtually extinct dinosaur."

Millionaire, I don't neccesarily disagree with you about the futility of Lou's task, but you are making this much more complicated than it is.

Lou is a board member. By law it is his right to know and review every bit of company infomation. Not only is it his right; it is also his legal responsibility. These are facts beyond dispute.

Millionaire, what you are saying comes down to the fact that Lanza will not allow Lou to exercise his rights and responsibilites as a board member. I'm sure that is true. And isn't this just like the Lanza we all know?

My issue Millionaire is Lou's response to all this. Seems to me he has two choices with integrity. He could resign. That may not be the best choice. He could serve on the board, move his agenda as best he can, but not sell out and become a mouthpiece for Lanza. That would probably be the best he could do with a mostly hopeless situation. I could respect that.

What Lou can't do and what he has chossen over and over to do is to serve on the board, tell us he pretty much doesn't know anything about anything, and then front for Lanza, on the audit, on production, on everything good Lanza is doing. No, I'm not going to put up with Lou telling stories about rain in Lousianna! Not with the lies this company has told about production.

I've asked Lou how we can pump 7,000 + barrels the past two months and only ship 4,000 in April and 5,000 in May? He tells me about the rain. What the hell is that? Millionaire, the PR means that we are starting this month with 5,000 in the tanks. If we pump another 7,000, don't you think we could ship at least 10,000 for June? How about just 9,000. But we all know, don't we, that it ain't going to happen. But then you got Lou talking about the damn rain in Lousianna. What excuse will he put forward next month?

Lou could have done this without getting into bed with Lanza, and that is what I can't forgive.
