Lol. I guess so. Bush has just dropped 6 points in the latest NBC Poll to a new all-time low. Cheney's chief of staff Scooter Libby is trying to convince a judge to let him stay out of jail until Bush can pick a less politically damaging time to pardon him. The Senate has issued subpoenas to several White House staff members to testify about the illegal firing of Federal Procecutors. Carl Rove will be next. But don't expect Bush to allow it to happen. Expect him instead to claim "Executive Privilege", and thus create a Constitutional crisis. And rose colored glasses aren't good enough for Bush any more. His ever-optimistic top General says that we'll know by September how the troop surge in Iraq is working. Everyone else has admitted that it's failing. But Bush says September is too soon to tell. He wants more time.
