Re: Feltang, agree, The fee was publicly recorded. It could be a broker's fee or possibly even extra payments for Sinopec Company execs outside of China, but it would not be a bribe to any government officials.

Article is a good find Ruby. Notes that the affidavit accompanying the FBI raid was looking for things of value that could have been paid to Sao Tome or Nigerian officials.

It all starts with the Sao Tome AG report written by a US attorney with family ties to Anadarko.
