go-kite, a great summary. Of particular interest to me was the following:

14-EEE is not an end user product
15-EEE is an OEM level product, part of the Wave toolkit
16-EEE is going to be very important

From the above it would appear that EEE would just be added to the current OEM bundles, OEM meaning PC makers. From the product information there is a screen shot showing EEE under the ESC which might mean that the chip suppliers could bundle a minimal package of ESC/EEE. This would put us in all TPM's shipped except Infineon.

I do, however, remember the haunting teaser from the Interop FAQ which left open the possiblility of a Microsoft business relationship. If ESC/EEE could act in a non secure manner, not with a TPM as well as with, why couldn't MS include it Vista Business edition? It ties in with Server 2008.

On a day like today I am guilty of searching for hope.
