He might be right, i am based in Canada, and for weeks now, you can only trade bb stocks through phone orders because of SEC warnings regarding illegal trades from hackers who hack into trading accounts and use the money in those accounts to pump and dump stocks. A few weeks back the SEC released a list of more than 100 stocks that were believe to have been manipulated by hackers.
