Stockpromoters just ranks the activity on a stock, not its viability. However, it also ranks how effective a promoter is, so if someone's surreptitiously promoting it now, it could indicate some traction.

But then again, if you look back, Ecarfly also hit a high point between the points where DM pulled the PRs and the time the last PR said the merger was supposed to happen.

So, in other words, it could mean something, or it could mean nothing at all.
