(X) (NUE) steel puts The DJ Steel Index opened (0.8%) lower, but has cut that decline in half in recent trading. Goldman Sachs cut the Steel industry to Neutral from Attractive. The firm cited high current prices, slowing U.S. demand and seasonal patterns. On a positive note, the government of China announced export tariffs on its own steel producers this morning.
