<< what level of confidence do we have?>>
Nothing could be taken for granted, of course. But my personal level of confidence is pretty high. Somebody has already accused me of being patronizing towards NWOG management, but I am pretty sure they are holding their shares because of … lack of manipulative qualification and market expertise. :) Parkin and his Monimpex crew maybe sold already (although Maria claimed that their shares are under control and can’t be sold w/o NWOG approval – even after Parkin’s departure), but Russians… I don’t think so. I bet Mr. Malyshev doesn’t know what “shorting” is and how it works. I used to explain basics of market manipulations to the management of another Russian company. These people are very inexperienced in these methods of making money. They do it old fashioned traditional way: buy cheap (using connections, and Government support), sell high. So, I don’t think they’ve already cashed out their positions. More probable negative scenario: they will just give up fighting with “pinky reality” (market manipulations and annoying US shareholders). Again, I don’t think it will ever happen. I’ve done some profiling on Malyshev and his background – he is a strong military type, and never gives up (this is a quote). It should be a very strong reason to make him recognize a defeat.

That’s my story and I stick to it! :)
