I think the numbers will more or less match if you exclude the buyback of 1.5B shares.
The previous O/S count 4.9B minus 900M that became unrestricted plus 2.1B shares for the OTCBB A/M yields the present O/S count of 6.1B shares.
Now the float is up by 900M from 3.5B to 4.4B shares.
This is what makes sense to me. Well, next week I hope to find the real answer when the financial come out.
