Schnizzle, maybe you missed Rocky's post (he has been in contact with the Mexican half of the JV). His original post discussed that mapping, and that VPN had hired a marketing company; these things were not done nor did the Peraltas pay for the HotZone units, mapping, etc. so the 4010's could sit on a shelf somewhere. I believe they are doing this to make money.

The post I made referred to "additional areas" that would be connected to the pilot network. The RF mapping is now complete for those "areas" so the 4010's will now be installed.

RF mapping is done on a basis of assumptions based on building type,landscaping, hills, valleys, lakes, etc.... Then the Radios are installed,then "dead spots" are located and corrected by additional hardware or adjustments in the antenna array.
