Congrats on the good outcome, Joe. Not only a win for dog lovers but for justice lovers. Too bad you had to be dragged into such a thing though.

Up in Redding, CA there was a big deal about Haven Humane giving away a dog that was turned in. The dog broke free of its yard and the owner called looking for it but was told that Haven Humane didn't have it (although it turned out that was a mistake). The dog was adopted by another family and then the mistake was discovered. After threats of lawsuits, the adoptive family decided to return the dog to the original owner.
