My take on the divvy/split mess.

Ok, company waited too long after announcing divvy to do it. So, decided to scrap that idea and "reward" all shareholders as of now, and do a stock split for everybody on May 8. Thus the price jump of 100% on Friday. People wanted a part of this. USSE merges/takes over the other one, and the deals start happening once again and the price starts shooting up. Everybody should be happy.

just one man's opinion, and I see that as the only option for a good company who cares to make things right with the shareholders.

Now, the question/statement for those shareholders of record who expect a divvy of the 12/1 stated date. Do you really expect them to track down (it's now May) all shareholder transactions, the buying low and selling high, the ones who are no longer around etc...the new guys like me who bought in after the 12/1 date buying shares.....Am I supposed to think that the company will figure out which shares I bought (cause they were owned at one time by a pre 12/1 owner), and reward me with additional divvy???? You think they'll actually do that and all of the other stuff? I mean, someone who sold their shares post 12/1 should get a divvy??

I don't see that happening......but like I said, I'm post 12/1 here, and just thought to throw down. Patience is the key, if you believe that they are good company with a marketable product and want to "reward" their shareholders and make things right for the non-divvy. Think on it. They could have just ignored it, and not done a stock split???!!! They must have something planned and the shareholders will like the future.

once again, just one man's opinion
