We can not place the blame on any one thing for the high cost of medical care. These high cost of medical care started to escalate witn the advent of medicare. Doctor started getting paid for services they were giving away He could write on a prescription pp which meant poor person as signal to the pharmacist to give the patient a break. I gave thousands of dollars of prescriptions which I was never paid for nor did expect to receive payment. I never refused medicine for a child. With today system, a pharmacy can not afford to do this.
Remember what so ever a man soweth that shall he also reap Believe me I have gotten blessed long after I finally closed my pharmacy. I reliezed that the corner drugstore was beoming a dinosaur. Times change especially in the medical field.
