Actually under a buck at .93. Tara has taken much longer than I anticipated to get their financials caught up. They are moving forward but at a slow pace. Now up to 6/30/05 10q and 12/31/05 10K. Need 9/30/05 10q and then they can start on 2006. CPA's are taking their sweet time. Damn company didn't even have operations in 2005 but it's taken forever.
Mining from joint venture partners has also been slow to advance. I still think the jt ventures will prove very lucrative for all parties. The jt venture with Paramount should prove up a BIG silver deposit. They are spending tens of millions just on the drilling because the deposit keeps growing. It's going to be hundreds of millions of oz of silver. Tara's going to have 30%.
There is activity on most of the jt ventures but equipment and people are hard to get in mining right now. I expect gold production in 2007 but not in Q1 as I had hoped. Looks like late 2007. Similarly I had hoped that their Tara Minerals subsidiary would be producing zinc/lead/silver by now. That hasn't happened yet.
Bad news? No, the assets are still in the ground and growing. The timing of when the rocks come out of the ground has changed. I still think this will turn out to be a multibagger from here. I think anything under a buck is a buy. Bobwins
