That's what this board is all about. Congratulations on your "Like New" machine.

Wonderdog is doing very well. He is walking for short periods and has begun eating again. He is grumpy in the morning until he has his pain meds but he definately is going to make it.

Possible upgrades to consider for your machine. looks like your machine has PC2100 memory. I would double it for $70 here. http://www.ms4me.com/mic51pcddrra.html

Also, I would call HP support. Your CPU should be upgradeable. Tell them you have a model 7905 version D7210U and ask them what the fastest cpu you can upgrade to will be. Don't buy from them as you will probably pay 3X the price. If they tell you you cannot upgrade per company policy then ask them for the complete ASUS model and revision # of your motherboard.

Lastly, your machine is not too out of date. With the cleanout and added memory and possibly a CPU upgrade you should be OK until the price of the Rocket drops to under a $grand.
