Weby, I'm not an expert on the financial side, as I said. What I'm hearing SKS say is that this is similar to what was authorized in '98 in terms of scale. Maybe that's true, maybe it's not. I'll let others with more knowledge pick that apart. I'm not even saying that the specific numbers are appropriate. What I am saying is you have to have ammunition in your arsenal BEFORE you go to war. If we want to grow this company to the size that we all believe it can and should be, then this is a tool management must have at some point. Why not now? Why not be able to reward the loyal, hard-working employees now, and still have plenty to attract new talent when the SP starts rising?
Again, I respect everyone's take on this. The numbers may look excessive right now. Maybe they are, but fundamentally I agree with SKS on this. Doesn't mean I'm voting yes yet (I want more info and time to digest), but I'm inclined to listen.
