Asia Telecom Ltd.: Asia Telecom Ltd. Updates its Shareholders

Apr 19, 2007 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- April 19, 2007 -- Asia Telecom Ltd. (Other OTC: ATLJ.PK) (Frankfurt Stock Exchange: HZK.F) would like to update its shareholders of the following:
1. The Company is in the process of changing its Transfer Agent; 2. The Company has obtained a new CUSIP number and is awaiting a new symbol from the NASD;

All corporate administration will be handled out of offices in Baku, Azerbaijan from now on.

President / CEO, Ayaz Karimov stated: "We cannot rush the NASD to process any changes for the Company so we are asking our shareholders to be patient as we will have a fresh start with a new Transfer Agent and thought it was appropriate to obtain a new CUSIP number and symbol at the same time."
