I run RegClean at least once a day.
I defrag once in a while.
I think my biggest problem is this HP piece of crap won't take anymore than 512MB RAM. I have it maxed out.
Oh well, I only paid $400 (new) for it 2 years ago. However, at the time, I didn't realize I couldn't "up-grade" the RAM.
The main reason I want to build a computer is, I want 3-4 gigs RAM and , either dual processors or the "hyper-threading technology".
I process a lot of digital photo files, sometimes over 100 at a time, and each one is over 18MB. Plus, Photoshop runs slow now. I have a P4 1.6 ghz processor. A friend of mine has a P4 2.5 ghz and his is noticably faster when we process photos on his machine. He has only 512MB as well.
